Η Φωτεινή Μάρκου είναι Technical Content Manager στον οργανισμό Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Στο GRI έχει συμβάλλει στο έργο για την ανάπτυξη των προτύπων GRI που αφορούν την κλιματική αλλαγή.

Η Φωτεινή έχει προϋπηρεσία σε διεθνείς οργανισμούς αλλά και στον ιδιωτικό τομέα. Πριν από την ένταξή της στον οργανισμό GRI, απέκτησε εμπειρία σε θέματα βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης από διαφορετικές πλευρές, μέσω της εργασίας της σε συμβουλευτικές υπηρεσίες, σε εσωτερικές θέσεις στη βιομηχανία και σε διεθνείς οργανισμούς. Έχει εργαστεί ως ελεγκτής σε συστήματα διαχείρισης και στην ανάπτυξη εκθέσεων βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης σύμφωνα με διεθνή πρότυπα.

Η Φωτεινή έχει ακαδημαϊκό υπόβαθρο Μηχανικού Παραγωγής έχοντας αποκτήσει δίπλωμα Μηχανολόγου Μηχανικού από το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο (ΕΜΠ) και μεταπτυχιακό από την École Nationale Supérieure d' Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) στο Παρίσι.

Foteini Markou
Technical Content Manager, GRI

Foteini Markou is a Technical Content Manager at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). While at GRI, she contributed to the project for the development of the GRI Climate Change Standards. 

Foteini has a background both in international and standard setting organizations as well as in the private sector. Prior to joining GRI, she gained experience in sustainability from different perspectives such as consulting, internal industry functions and international organizations. She has worked as an auditor in management systems and sustainability reporting as per international standards.

Foteini has an academic background in Industrial Engineering and has obtained an MEng from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Master’s degree from the École Nationale Supérieure d' Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in Paris.
