Enaon, Sustainable Networks Company of the Italgas Group, is active in the field of natural gas distribution in Greece. Its core mission is to develop advanced distribution networks across a vast geographical expanse in the Greek territory, designed to deliver a diverse range of energy sources, including natural gas and renewable gases.

Through its subsidiary Enaon EDA, Enaon manages more than 9,150 kilometres of natural gas distribution network across 117 municipalities in Greece, serving over 655,000 customers. 

These are “smart” and digital networks, ready for renewable gases such as biomethane, which form the backbone of the country’s transition towards a cleaner energy mix.

Enaon’s strategy is clearly reflected in the 2025–2031 Strategic Plan of the Italgas Group, which foresees investments of €1 billion to accelerate Greece’s energy transition, making a substantial contribution to the security, sustainability, and competitiveness of the energy system.
